The Nigeria Super Eagles have kicked off their preparations for the 2025 Unity Cup with a 20-man squad already in camp in London. The team is set to face off against Ghana in their opening match at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford on May 28.
The squad, led by captain Ahmed Musa, is a blend of experienced internationals and home-based hopefuls. Europe-based professionals such as Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon, Nathan Tella, and Cyriel Dessers are joined by home-based players like Junior Nduka, Sadiq Ismaila, and Waliu Ojetoye.
The team’s head coach, Eric Chelle, will be looking to intensify tactical drills and foster cohesion within the mixed squad in the coming hours.
