Shooting Stars (3SC) of Ibadan assistant coach Akin Olowokere has died after collapsing during a training session on Monday morning in Ibadan.
Olowokere was set to work under newly appointed Technical Adviser Nurudeen Aweroro as part of the club’s restructured backroom staff ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
According to reports, he slumped during the morning session and could not be revived. The cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed.

Olowokere had only recently joined the Oluyole Warriors’ technical crew in a move aimed at strengthening the coaching department following a major overhaul earlier this month.
