Former Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata references Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen so high following his goal for Galatasaray in their 5-1 thrashing of Eyüpspor on Sunday.
Osimhen led the line for Galatasaray when they traveled to the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadyumu to play Eyüpspor in their 31st Super Lig game of the season. Substitute Morata grabbed a brace while Osimhen registered a goal and an assist.
After the game, Morata was asked about his thoughts about Osimhen, and he admitted that he was quite impressed with the 26-year-old Super Eagles star.

“Osimhen is a great person and one of the best centre forwards in the world,” Morata said, per Sports Digitale. “I hope we will all celebrate the championship together. This is an incredible country, my family is very happy here, I want it to continue like this.”
Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray from a Serie A club, has been exceptional for The Lions since joining last summer and has proven himself over and over again.
The Nigeria international has recorded 31 goals and seven assists in 36 outings across all competitions for Okan Buruk’s side.

Then, the home side pulled one back, courtesy of Luccas Claro. However, Morata, who was a 67th-minute substitute, did the remaining damage, as he scored twice in three minutes to seal the win for the reigning Turkish champions.
