Paul Onuachu has praised the competitive nature of the Turkish Super Lig after scoring the decisive goal in Trabzonspor’s 1–0 victory over Çaykur Rizespor on Saturday.
The Nigerian striker netted the only goal of the game early in the second half to secure all three points for the home side.
Speaking after the match, Onuachu admitted the encounter proved difficult despite Trabzonspor’s dominance.
“There are no easy matches in this league; every game is tough. We have to give credit to our opponents because they put up a good fight,” he said.
