AC Milan is reportedly considering Nigerian defender Ola Aina as a potential signing for the right-back position. The Serie A giants are looking to strengthen their defensive options ahead of the new season, and Aina has emerged as a viable candidate.
Milan’s recruitment team, led by sporting director Igli Tare, had initially targeted Strasbourg’s Guela Doué and Porto’s Martim Fernandes.
However, the hefty price tags attached to both players have prompted Milan to reconsider more affordable alternatives. Doué is reportedly valued at €20 million, while Fernandes is priced at €60 million.
Aina, who previously played for Torino between 2018 and 2023, has caught Milan’s attention with his solid performances for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old has made 35 appearances, scoring twice and providing an assist. His familiarity with Italian football and contract situation make him an attractive option for Milan.

While Aina’s contract with Forest runs until 2026, the club may consider offers around €10 million, significantly less than the fees being demanded for Milan’s other targets.
