AFCON-bound Super Eagles duo Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke were both on the scoresheet as Sevilla secured a comfortable victory over Real Oviedo, underlining their fine form just days before reporting for international duty.
Adams wasted no time stamping his authority on the contest, opening the scoring in the fourth minute after being released by Lucien Agoumé. The Nigerian striker showed composure and power as he surged into the box and rifled past the goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation.
The early breakthrough settled Sevilla, who dominated possession and moved the ball crisply as Oviedo struggled to cope with their intensity. Djibril Sow doubled the advantage in the 22nd minute, finishing clinically into the bottom corner after a neat move inside the box.

Sevilla remained in control for long spells, with VAR drama midway through the half eventually ruling out a potential Oviedo penalty, allowing the hosts to maintain their grip on the match.
The spotlight returned to Nigeria’s attacking contingent in the second half when Chidera Ejuke, introduced from the bench, marked his impact in style.
The winger struck his first goal of the season in what was his 12th appearance, making it one goal and one assist for the campaign and further highlighting his value as an impact substitute.
