Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers has taken to the footsteps of Victor Osimhen this season with the record number of goals scored in a single season.
Cyril Dessers continued his impressive form, scoring his 26th goal of the season, breaking his personal records for goals in a single season to help Rangers secure a commanding 4-0 victory over Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.
Cyril Dessers finished the 2023/2024 season season in the Scottish Premier League with 22 goals and have improved on that with a record 26 goals this season with some matches still remaining.

Although Rangers struggled to find the net in the first half, Václav Černý changed the game’s momentum, breaking the deadlock in the 55th minute with a crucial goal.
Just six minutes later, Dessers doubled Rangers’ lead with a composed finish, tapping in a low cross from Nico Raskin delivered from the byline.
Apart from Dessers scoring 26 goals in this current campaign, He has also recorded seven assists in 53 appearances across all competitions, pegging his total goal contributions this season at a record 33.
Like Osimhen who is doing well at Galatasaray, Dessers is the highest goal scorer in the Scottish Premier League this season.
