Nigeria international Semi Ajayi made his return to action for Hull City A.F.C. in their 3–1 defeat to Millwall F.C., marking his first club appearance of 2026.
The centre-back had been sidelined with an injury sustained while representing the Nigeria national football team during the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ajayi’s return is expected to provide a boost for Hull City as they continue their campaign, with the Nigerian defender now back in contention for regular playing time.
Millwall made a bright start to the Championship encounter, taking the lead early through Jake Cooper. Hull responded quickly when Joe Gelhardt found the equaliser to lift the home crowd.
