Former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo has advised Moses Simon to seize a potential Premier League move, prioritizing the winger’s future over his current situation at FC Nantes.
The Nigerian talent is reportedly considering a summer exit from the Ligue 1 side, with England seemingly his next destination.
Speaking to Africa Foot, Yobo expressed his support for Simon’s potential move to the Premier League.

“I don’t know the truth about the reports that he wants to leave Nantes, but if he were to leave, it would have to be for the Premier League, which is where he plays next,” Yobo said.
“It’s long overdue given his ability, versatility, and experience. I mean, why not? He is, and has always been, good enough for English football.
” Yobo, who played for Everton early in his career, believes a move to England would be ideal for Simon, especially with rumors of interest from the Toffees circulating in recent weeks.
“If the reports of Everton’s interest are true, and above all, serious, then it would be even better,” Yobo added.
“I played on Merseyside for almost a decade, and I know the football culture there; it’s enormous. This would be an ideal transfer for him, as his impact and speed are well-suited to Everton.”

Simon has consistently been one of Nantes’ most reliable performers, and his impressive displays have drawn interest from several European clubs.
With a contract at Nantes until 2026, this summer could be a pivotal moment in his career, and a Premier League move could be the next step in his development as a player.
