Super Eagles invitee and Göztepe midfielder Anthony Dennis has caught the eye with a standout breakthrough season in the Turkish Super Lig, with top clubs from the Premier League, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1 now reportedly vying for his signature.
The 20-year-old, who joined Göztepe in 2023 from Nigerian club HB Abuja, has quickly become a pivotal figure in the team’s midfield. Known for his versatility, consistency, and ability to control the game.
Dennis has played 31 matches this season, playing a key role in helping Göztepe reach the semi-finals of the Turkish Cup, his performances have also earned him a market value of €2 million, according to Transfermarkt.

European clubs from Germany, England, and France have reportedly been monitoring Dennis’s progress, with Bundesliga side St. Pauli, Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion, and Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennais among the teams showing interest.

Despite his growing reputation, Dennis is yet to make his senior debut for the Nigerian national team, although he was listed in the Provisional list for the FIFA World qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe
In a recent interview with Africafoot, Eddie Bonsu, senior consultant at Elite Project Group, which represents Dennis, remained tight-lipped about any potential transfer.
“He’s a high-quality player, and it’s no surprise that his name is being mentioned in the major leagues, we’re approaching everything with caution, but we wish Anthony the best, now and in the future” Bonsu said.

Dennis has now played 46 games for Göztepe and has established himself as one of the most promising young midfielders in Europe.
