Ademola Lookman is facing a possible heavy fine after leaving Italy without permission, as his transfer saga between Atalanta and Inter Milan drags on without resolution.
The Nigerian forward has missed several training sessions and taken what club officials describe as an “unauthorised extra vacation.”
According to reports in Italy, Atalanta’s owners, the Percassi family, are considering legal action against the player, which could result in a significant financial penalty.

Lookman, 27, is under contract with Atalanta until 2027 and remains one of the club’s key players.
Inter Milan are the only side to have made an approach, agreeing personal terms but seeing their opening €42m plus €3m add-ons bid fall short of Atalanta’s €50m valuation.

The Serie A rivals are locked in a stalemate, with Atalanta reluctant to sell to a direct competitor and hopeful another club may yet enter the race.
However, no other suitors are currently ready to make a formal offer.

Lookman’s absence from training is seen as an attempt to force a move, but the situation leaves both clubs waiting for the other to make the next move.
