Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal has reportedly opened formal talks with Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Italian club Napoli.
Victor Osimhen has been at the center of a transfer debacle to top European clubs including Manchester United and Arsenal.
Osimhen has had a remarkable campaign with Galatasaray, playing an instrumental role in the team’s title win in the Turkish Süper Lig. The 26-year-old centre-forward has logged 36 goals and 8 assists in 40 games for the Turkish giants this season, showcasing his impressive skills and goal-scoring ability.

However, it appears that neither Manchester United or Arsenal has made any concrete move to sign Osimhen, despite reportedly considering him as a target to bolster their attack. This lack of progress may have led Osimhen to explore other options, and Al-Hilal’s interest seems to have piqued his interest.

The Saudi Pro League side are reportedly offering Osimhen a lucrative contract, and talks between the two parties are progressing well. Al-Hilal’s willingness to invest heavily in top talent is well-documented, and it seems that they are willing to splurge on Osimhen.

Osimhen’s future has been uncertain, with the player stating that he wouldn’t return to Napoli, his parent club. The talks with Al-Hilal may provide a solution to his uncertain situation, offering him a new challenge and a chance to compete in a different league.
If Al-Hilal succeeds in signing Osimhen, it could potentially scupper Manchester United’s plans to strengthen their attack.
The Red Devils or Arsenal will likely need to look elsewhere for a target, which could prove to be a challenging task given the competitive nature of the transfer market.
