CAF names officials, tensions rise ahead of Flamingos-Algeria decider in Ikenne

Nigeria’s U17 women’s team, the Flamingos, are set to face Algeria in a crucial FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier this weekend in Ikenne.

The FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup is fast approaching, and Nigeria’s Flamingos are heating things up as they prepare to face Algeria in a make-or-break qualifier this weekend at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo.

Fresh off a commanding 5-1 aggregate win over South Africa, the Flamingos coached by Bankole Olowookere are gunning for another dominant display as they inch closer to the global stage in Morocco later this year.

Camped at the state-of-the-art Remo Stars Sports Institute, the Flamingos are focused and fired up. Algeria, their next opponents, are no pushovers either.
