Côte d’Ivoire will host the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B Qualifiers, according to an official statement released by the West African Football Union (WAFU B) Secretariat.
The tournament, scheduled to run from August 9 to August 24, 2025, will feature top women’s football clubs from across the region battling for a single coveted spot at the CAF Women’s Champions League finals.
Bayelsa Queens, fresh off their 2024/25 Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) title win, will represent Nigeria.

The Queens secured their spot after a commanding 4–1 victory over Naija Ratels in the NWFL Super 6 playoffs, held at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.

Police Ladies of Ghana will also feature, after clinching the 2024/25 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League title. This marks their debut in the regional qualifiers, becoming Ghana’s third-ever representative in the competition after Hasaacas Ladies and Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
Edo Queens, last year’s winners of the WAFU B Qualifiers, will not be defending their title this time. Their standout striker, Emem Peace, finished the previous edition as the top scorer with six goals.

The tournament winner will automatically qualify for the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League, Africa’s most prestigious women’s club tournament.
