Africa’s best goalkeeper and Super Falcons star, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has once again been nominated for another top award in the French Women’s League.

The talented goalkeeper has been nominated for the prestigious Best Goalkeeper of the Year award in the French women’s league, specifically the Arkema Premier League’s Best Goalkeeper of the 2024/2025 season.

This nomination comes as no surprise for the talented goalie. Her exceptional performances last season made her triumph over Christine Endler to claim the same award.

This time around, she faces stiff competition from two formidable goalkeepers: Christiane Endler of Lyon and Mary Earps of PSG.

Nnadozie’s impressive season saw her record 10 clean sheets, a notable achievement that demonstrates her shot-stopping ability and defensive leadership. Endler, on the other hand, notched 13 clean sheets, while Earps secured eight.

While the numbers are close, each goalkeeper brought their unique skillset and leadership to the table, making this nomination a closely contested one.
