Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare first Premier League start under new head coach Rob Edwards ended in frustration as Wolves were beaten 2-0 by Crystal Palace at Molineux.
Edwards, installed after the departure of Vítor Pereira, opted for an attack led by Arokodare and Jørgen Strand Larsen as he aimed to reset Wolves’ season and secure a long-awaited league win. His side stayed organised through a cagey opening half but struggled to create clear chances.
Crystal Palace took control after the interval. Daniel Muñoz broke the stalemate just past the hour mark, drilling a low effort beyond the Wolves goalkeeper.

The visitors struck again six minutes later when Yeremi Pino produced a superb curling finish that clipped the underside of the bar on its way in.
