Nigeria’s D’Tigers completed a flawless group campaign at Afrobasket 2025 with a 101-92 win over Cameroon in Luanda.
The D’tigers already assured of a quarter-final place, made sure of top spot in Group B by seeing off a spirited Cameroonian side in their final match.
The game swung in the second quarter, when D’Tigers outscored Cameroon 32-16 to take a commanding 60-43 half-time lead.

Nigeria then extended their advantage to 86-55 at the end of the third quarter before Cameroon rallied late to cut the deficit ( 15-37)
Josh Okogie (16 points), Caleb Agada(15 points), Stan Okoye (14 points) Micheal Mekowulu ( 12 points), Stephen Igbanu(10 points) and Ike Nwamu(12 points) all hit double figures as Nigeria wrapped up their third straight win, having earlier beaten Madagascar and defending champions Tunisia.

The victory means D’Tigers top Group B with a 3-0 record and will face the third-placed side from Group A in the quarter-finals.
