Jordan Premier League side Salt Sport Club have completed the signing of Nigerian defender Ebedebiri Endurance on a two-year contract with an option to extend.
The 22-year-old centre-back finalized the move after successfully undergoing a routine medical and will link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming season.
Ebedebiri arrives from Nigeria Premier Football League side Akwa United, where he enjoyed a personal-best campaign in the 2024/25 season despite the team suffering relegation.

The dependable defender scored five goals in 36 appearances, a joint-record for NPFL centre-backs last season, sharing the honour with Plateau United’s Olawale Doyeni.

In an exclusive interview with Athletic NG last month, Ebedebiri reflected on his season with mixed emotions.
“It was my best season individually, but going down with Akwa was painful. Still, I’m grateful for the platform and the experience,” he said.
A product of Nigeria’s domestic football circuit, Ebedebiri has accumulated over 100 top-flight appearances, having previously played for Bayelsa United, Rivers United, and Lobi Stars.

He was part of Bayelsa’s memorable Aiteo Cup-winning squad, a highlight he still holds dear.
Ebedebiri, who models his game on Brazilian legend Thiago Silva, is admired for his calmness and composure under pressure.

Looking ahead, the ambitious defender remains focused on bigger goals.
“My ambition is to go to Europe and show the world what I can do. That’s where I see myself shortly,” he told Athletic NG.
The move to Jordan could mark the first step toward that dream, as he begins a new chapter in his promising career.
