German giants Bayern Munich are reportedly keeping tabs on Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare, who has been explosive in the Belgian Jupiler League with Genk.
The 24-year-old has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 19 goals and providing five assists in the league, which has propelled Genk to become one of the major contenders for the Jupiler League title.
Arokodare’s impressive performances have attracted interest from top clubs across Europe, including Newcastle, Stuttgart, Borussia Dortmund, and Trabzonspor.
However, Bayern Munich now appear to be the latest club to join the chase for the towering striker’s signature. According to reports, the Bavarians are monitoring Arokodare’s progress and see him as a potential backup for Harry Kane.

The need for a quality striker to support Kane has become increasingly evident, especially after Mathys Tel’s loan move to Tottenham in January. Arokodare has a €25 million price tag, which seems like a feasible option for Bayern Munich, who can afford it.
Moreover, his imposing 6-foot-6 height would offer a bigger presence in the box, which could be a valuable asset for the team.

Arokodare’s move to Bayern Munich would undoubtedly be a significant step up for the young striker.
However, it would also mean limited game time, which could impact his development. On the other hand, playing alongside top-class players like Kane would provide invaluable experience and exposure.

He might even get lucky if Kane gets injured, as Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting did when Robert Lewandowski was at Bayern.
The Super Eagles striker has only two caps for Nigeria, which he earned during the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe. Despite failing to score or assist in those games, Arokodare’s talent and potential are undeniable.
Arokodare’s dream club is reportedly Real Madrid, but Bayern Munich’s interest in him could change the narrative.
If he were to join Bayern, he would have the opportunity to rub shoulders with the best players in the world and compete against top-class teams. With Kane set to turn 32 in July, Arokodare could potentially become the first-choice striker when Kane leaves.
