Fact Check: Claims Ahmed Musa bought cars for Kano Pillars players proven false

Recent viral claims that Ahmed Musa, newly appointed General Manager of Kano Pillars FC, gifted cars to all players and officials of the club have been confirmed as false, based on our findings.

The story which falsely asserts that the Super Eagles legend marked his appointment by handing out brand new Land Cruiser SUVs first surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) and quickly spread, stirring excitement and admiration among fans.

However, our investigations reveal that no such gesture took place.

Musa only formally resumed duties as General Manager on Monday and has since pledged to focus on restoring the club to its former glory.
