Nigeria’s Falconets produced a commanding display as they defeated hosts Benin Republic 3-0 at Stade Omnisports d’Adjohoun on Sunday, taking firm control of the 2025 WAFU B U20 Girls Cup.
Coming off a 3-1 win against defending champions Ghana just 24 hours earlier, the Nigerian side showed no signs of fatigue, dominating possession and dictating the tempo from the outset.
Kareem Ramotalahi opened the scoring in the 15th minute, cutting inside from the right and slotting a composed finish past the goalkeeper.
The forward doubled her tally on the hour mark with a low strike after another surging run, putting the game firmly out of reach for the hosts.
