Nigeria’s U20 women’s team, the Falconets, have resumed training in Abuja ahead of their FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying fixture against Senegal.
The team opened camp earlier this week as preparations began for the third-round qualifier, which will be played over two legs next month as part of the road to Poland 2026.
Seventeen players are currently in camp, with more expected to join in the coming days as the technical crew continues its selection process. Training sessions have focused on fitness, tactical organisation and team cohesion as the squad builds towards competitive readiness.
Head coach Moses Aduku said preparations were progressing according to plan, with structured sessions designed to assess players and fine-tune the team’s approach ahead of the decisive encounters.
