Fenerbahce are set to reignite contract talks with Nigerian defender Bright Osayi-Samuel in a last-ditch effort to keep him beyond this season.
The Super Eagles star has yet to agree to a contract extension, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the campaign. Despite the club’s persistent efforts, negotiations have stalled since the start of the year.
Osayi-Samuel has been a standout performer for the Yellow Canaries since joining from QPR in 2021. In four seasons, the versatile full-back has made 171 appearances, contributing seven goals and 15 assists.
Fenerbahce are keen to avoid losing him for free in the summer and, as reported by Fanatik, are now preparing a significantly improved offer in hopes of convincing him to stay.

The financial details are yet to be revealed, but Osayi-Samuel currently earns £2.5 million per year — a figure he will likely expect to see increased.

The 26-year-old has long been linked with a return to the Premier League. Everton and Crystal Palace are reportedly monitoring his situation, and he was even seen at Selhurst Park earlier this season during Palace’s clash with Arsenal.

With the Premier League offering higher wages and more visibility, Fenerbahce may face an uphill battle to retain their defender — unless their upcoming offer truly stands out.
Osayi-Samuel is expected to make a decision on his future in the coming weeks as the season nears its end.
