The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, and the federation’s General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, were among global football leaders who gathered in Miami, Florida, on Monday for the 2025 FIFA Executive Football Summit.

Senior officials from FIFA, regional confederations, and member associations gathered at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside for a high-level summit focused on shaping the future of global football through strategic dialogue.

The summit served as a platform for decision-makers to exchange ideas and explore collaborative pathways, with discussions focused on FIFA’s evolving competition structure, enhanced investment in women’s football, and the ongoing implementation of development programmes, including preparations for the expanded FIFA Club World Cup.
