Goalkeeper Ebenezer Harcourt made a crucial save from Niger’s opening penalty, and another effort struck the post, giving Nigeria the advantage.
Captain Daniel Bameyi stepped up to convert the decisive spot kick, sealing a 4-3 victory and sending the Flying Eagles into their third consecutive WAFU B final.

Nigeria will now face the winner of the second semifinal between Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, as they look to claim a third straight title in the regional competition.
