Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is once again attracting interest from Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas, according to iyi ki Besiktas var.
The 27-year-old Nigerian international has endured a difficult season with Leicester City, despite being one of the club’s more consistent performers.
Ndidi made 26 appearances across all competitions, 1 goal and provided four assists, but it was not enough to prevent the Foxes from suffering relegation with five games remaining.
This marks the second time Leicester have dropped out of the Premier League in three years, and with the club preparing for life in the Championship, several senior players are expected to depart.

Besiktas had previously shown interest in signing the midfielder last summer, but negotiations failed to yield a deal. Now, Turkish outlet iyi ki Besiktas var reports that the Istanbul-based club is set to renew its efforts to secure Ndidi’s signature during the upcoming transfer window.
Financial Hurdles Remain
While Besiktas are keen on adding the experienced midfielder to their ranks, a deal could be complicated by financial considerations. Ndidi is currently valued at €18 million on Transfermarkt—a significant investment for most Turkish sides. In addition, his Premier League-level wages may require Besiktas to offload one of their higher earners to accommodate the transfer.

Nevertheless, the club views Ndidi as a player who could strengthen their midfield and bring leadership to a squad aiming to re-establish itself in European competition.
Ndidi has been at Leicester city since January 2017 when he joined for £17 million transfer deal from Belgian club Gent and as racked up 299 appearances with 18 goals and 21 assists.
