Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi has confirmed that Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has expressed his desire to leave the club, as transfer talks with Inter Milan continue.
Lookman has been the subject of intense interest from the Nerazzurri in recent weeks, and while Inter have already submitted a €45 million bid, Atalanta are holding out for at least €50 million especially as both clubs are Serie A rivals.
“Lookman wants to leave since long time ago. We have a proposal from Inter but it’s us deciding timing and valuation for our own players,” Percassi said.
“We have good relationship and we will consider the proposal with our timing.”

Lookman’s exit has long been expected following a reported fallout with former Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini earlier in the year.
Despite the internal tensions, Lookman has remained professional, maintaining his strong performances on the pitch.
Across three seasons with La Dea, the former Leicester and RB Leipzig star has racked up 52 goals and 25 assists in 118 appearances.
