Nigerian midfield enforcer Raphael Onyedika delivered a commanding performance as Club Brugge battled past fierce rivals Anderlecht 2-1 to lift their 12th Belgian Cup title in a fiery showdown at the King Baudouin Stadium.

The 24-year-old was at the heart of the action, stamping his authority on the midfield with a blend of grit, calm, and control.

Onyedika showed maturity beyond his years, dictating the pace and smothering Anderlecht’s attempts to take control — a true engine room display in an intense final.

Young forward Romeo Vermant was the hero, netting both goals for Brugge — first connecting with a Hugo Siquet cross, then finishing smartly from a Christos Tzolis delivery.

Anderlecht pulled one back through Luis Vázquez late on, but Brugge stood firm to seal the win.
