Iheanacho strikes as Celtic edge Motherwell in five-goal thriller

Kelechi Iheanacho was back among the goals as Celtic edged Motherwell 3-2 in a dramatic Scottish Premiership clash at Celtic Park.

The Nigerian forward, who joined Celtic on a free transfer in the summer, opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 28th minute — his third goal of the season.

Motherwell hit back through Apostolos Stamatelopoulos, who struck twice to put the visitors ahead. But Swedish forward Benjamin Nygren levelled for Celtic before Daizen Maeda sealed victory in stoppage time.
