Alex Iwobi played a pivotal role as Fulham stunned Liverpool 3-2 at Craven Cottage, ending a 13-year home winless streak against the Merseyside giants.
The Super Eagles midfielder scored once and assisted another, helping Marco Silva’s side secure their first victory over Liverpool at home since December 2011.

Liverpool started brightly and took the lead in the 14th minute with a spectacular solo goal from Alexis Mac Allister, who danced through midfield before firing into the top corner from 25 yards.
But Fulham hit back just nine minutes later. Ryan Sessegnon pounced on a poor clearance to smash home the equalizer after great build-up play from Timothy Castagne on the right flank.
Iwobi’s goal in the 32nd minute was a key moment in a thrilling game, as he calmly slotted home after a miscue with his initial attempt, taking his season tally to eight goals.

Just five minutes later, the 28-year-old turned provider, launching a quick counter that set up Rodrigo Muniz for Fulham’s third goal, putting the game beyond Liverpool’s reach.
Luis Diaz pulled one back for the visitors in the 72nd minute, but Fulham held on for a historic win.

This victory sees Fulham climb to 8th in the Premier League, just two points behind Newcastle and three behind Aston Villa, as they continue to push for a spot in Europe.
Despite the loss, Liverpool remains in the title race, holding onto a strong position at the top of the table.
