Juventus dump interest in Super Eagles Victor Osimhen

Juventus has reportedly dropped their pursuit of Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen in favor of Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres. According to reports, Osimhen’s preference for a move to Saudi Arabia has led to Juventus shifting their focus to Gyokeres, who has been impressive with 54 goals and 13 assists in 53 matches for Sporting Lisbon.

Gyokeres’ impressive form has also caught the attention of Arsenal, with manager Mikel Arteta keen to strengthen his attacking options. The transfer fee for Gyokeres is reportedly around €100 million, which is not far off what Napoli would demand for Osimhen’s permanent transfer from Galatasaray.

Juventus intends to offload Dusan Vlahovic, who has fallen out of favor with the fans and struggled last season. The club also reportedly won’t activate the purchase option for Randal Kolo Muani, who arrived on loan from PSG in the winter.
