Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has firmly dismissed reports linking Nigerian international forward Victor Osimhen with a move to the Turin-based club.

Despite persistent speculation in Italian media suggesting the Bianconeri were keen on acquiring the Napoli striker, currently on loan at Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray, Giuntoli has unequivocally stated there is no interest from Juventus in the player.

Giuntoli Addresses the Rumors
Speaking to Derin Football, Giuntoli addressed the swirling rumors head-on, saying, “I’m not interested in Osimhen. The rumors that you read in the Italian media are only to put pressure on us. Juventus does not want the player.

” This statement comes as a surprise, given Osimhen’s impressive performances for Galatasaray, scoring 33 goals and providing 8 assists in 38 appearances.

Osimhen’s Future Still Uncertain
Despite Giuntoli’s denial, Osimhen’s future remains uncertain. The 26-year-old is widely expected to leave Napoli permanently this summer, with a reported €75 million release clause in his contract attracting attention from several top European clubs.

Arsenal’s pursuit of Gyökeres has been gaining momentum, with the Gunners reportedly tabling a €75 million bid for the Sporting striker.

Negotiations between Arsenal and Sporting are ongoing, with Gyökeres emerging as a top priority for Arteta’s squad. Gyökeres has been in excellent form for Sporting, scoring crucial goals and providing assists, making him an attractive prospect for Arsenal.

The denial of interest in Osimhen by Juventus has significant implications for the transfer market. It suggests that the Italian club may be focusing on other targets to strengthen their attacking lineup. Meanwhile, Arsenal’s pursuit of Gyökeres could potentially block their interest in Osimhen.
