Kano Pillars Football Club have entered a historic partnership with Radio France Internationale (RFI) Hausa, in what is being described as one of the most significant sponsorship agreements in Nigerian club football.
The deal, worth ₦100 million, sees RFI Hausa become the main sponsor of the four-time NPFL champions for the upcoming season.
Under the terms, Kano Pillars will receive ₦45 million in cash, full kit sponsorship, and enhanced media and communication support.
The agreement was signed by Pillars General Manager and club legend Ahmed Musa, along with the Club Secretary, while Joseph Penney, Coordinator of RFI Hausa, and Bashir Ibrahim Idris, Editor-in-Chief, signed on behalf of the French international media outfit.
“This marks a new dawn for Kano Pillars FC as we strive to elevate this great club to unprecedented heights,” Musa said.

The sponsorship extends to all tiers of the club from the first team to the B team, and all youth sides (U13, U15, U19).
Players will also benefit directly, with each squad member set to receive a brand-new kit for every match, which they can give away after games.
The French-owned media organisation will also supply the club with state-of-the-art media equipment, provide professional video production training for the club’s media staff, and work with Kano Pillars on a comprehensive communications strategy.
