Kazie Enyinnaya stars as Stellenbosch reach MTN8 final against Olisa Ndah’s Orlando Pirates

Nigerian defender Kazie Enyinnaya played a key role as Stellenbosch FC reached a second straight MTN8 final following a 1-1 draw with Sekhukhune United in Polokwane, sealing a 3-1 aggregate victory.

New signing Mthetheleli Mthiyane scored in the 23rd minute to strengthen Stellenbosch’s lead, while Siphesihle Mkhize pulled one back late for Sekhukhune United.

Enyinnaya opened the scoring in the first leg at Danie Craven Stadium, nodding home from a corner, with Devin Titus adding a second to give the Maroons a strong advantage.

The 26-year-old has quickly cemented his place in Steve Barker’s squad. Despite the season being in its early stages, he has featured in three MTN8 matches and one PSL fixture.

“Olisa Ndah is training, he’s coming back [to full fitness], and everything is going well. Hopefully, in the next few days, he will be back with us in the group,” Ouaddou confirmed.

Ndah has been out of action since picking up the injury on match day 2 of the South African Premier Soccer League match against Polokwane city in September 2024.
