Ademola Lookman’s long-anticipated exit from Atalanta could finally be taking shape after the Serie A club lowered their asking price for the Nigeria forward.
According to Turkish transfer expert Ekrem Konur, Atalanta are now willing to negotiate a deal worth around €35m, a notable drop from the valuation that previously stalled interest from Inter Milan last summer.
The move has alerted several clubs across Europe, with Atlético Madrid emerging as one of the leading suitors. The Spanish side are believed to admire Lookman’s pace, direct style and ability to operate across the front line.
