After five standout seasons at FC Nantes, Moses Simon may be heading for the exit, with Turkish giants Trabzonspor emerging as a likely destination.
The 29-year-old Super Eagles star has been one of Nantes’ most consistent performers since arriving from Levante in 2020. With 36 goals and 41 assists in 199 appearances, Simon has played a key role in the club’s attack, earning cult status among fans.
Yet, despite enjoying one of his most productive campaigns — contributing seven goals and nine assists this season — the club is reportedly ready to part ways with the Nigerian international.
According to reports in France, Nantes are open to selling Simon this summer to avoid losing him on a free next year, as he enters the final 12 months of his contract.

Trabzonspor, the 2022 Turkish Super Lig champions, are keen to snap him up. Looking to rebuild and challenge for the title again, the club sees Simon as an experienced and dynamic addition to their squad.

Simon had previously attracted interest from English clubs, but no deal materialised. Now, with Nantes prepared to cash in and Trabzonspor circling, a summer switch looks likely.
