Super Eagles star Nathan Tella has denied rumors of his exit from Bayer Leverkusen, expressing his desire to stay with the German club.
The 25-year-old winger joined Leverkusen from Southampton in the summer of 2023 for €23.3 million but has largely played a squad role under coach Xabi Alonso.
Despite speculation about a potential return to the Premier League, Tella emphasized his commitment to Leverkusen, saying, “I’m still happy to be here at Bayer Leverkusen. I want to stay there. This is the club that signed me, and it’s an honor for them to sign me.”
He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play for Leverkusen, highlighting the incredible experience of joining a top-tier team like Die Werkself from the second division.
