Victor Osimhen struck twice as Galatasaray continued their UEFA Champions League (UCL) strong start with a 3–1 win over Bodø/Glimt in Istanbul.
The Nigerian forward opened the scoring inside three minutes, racing onto Mario Lemina’s through ball to calmly slot past Nikita Haikin, setting the tone for a commanding night at Rams Park.
Galatasaray dominated the early exchanges and were rewarded again before half-time when Osimhen punished a slack back pass from Fredrik André Bjørkan, rounding the goalkeeper to make it 2–0 and claim his third Champions League goal of the season.
The Turkish champions stayed in control after the interval, and Osimhen was involved once more pressing high to dispossess Haitam Aleesami before setting up Yunus Akgün, who finished at the second attempt to seal the points.
Andreas Helmersen’s header late on provided scant consolation for the visitors, as Galatasaray celebrated consecutive European victories for the first time in over a decade.

The result also extends Galatasaray’s impressive run 21 wins in their last 23 matches across all competitions keeping them firmly in contention in the Champions League league phase.
Osimhen’s performance continues a remarkable run of form on the continent.

The 26-year-old has now scored nine goals in his last seven matches for Galatasaray in Europe a tally that includes doubles against Tottenham and Bodø/Glimt, as well as goals against AZ Alkmaar, Dynamo Kyiv, Ajax, and Liverpool.
Osimhen has now scored five goals in seven matches this season for the Turkish champions, three in the UEFA Champions League and two in the Super Lig. The Nigerian hit 37 goals last season, leading Galatasaray to a memorable league and cup double.
