Super Falcons goalie Chiamaka Nnadozie delivered another assured performance as Brighton & Hove Albion Women claimed a 1-0 victory over Leicester City Women in the Women’s Super League.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper kept her second consecutive clean sheet following last weekend’s draw with Liverpool, helping Brighton secure their first away league win since January.
Brighton controlled much of the first half, dominating possession and creating the better openings but were unable to find a breakthrough before the interval.
The decisive moment came shortly after the restart when Kiko Seike scored three minutes into the second half to give the visitors the lead.
Brighton continued to push for a second goal but lacked the finishing touch to extend their advantage.
At the other end, Leicester struggled to threaten, failing to register a shot on target, leaving Nnadozie largely untested as Brighton comfortably saw out the result.
