Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie has been crowned the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year for the third time, cementing her status as Africa’s top shot-stopper.

The Super Falcons star retained her crown at the 2025 CAF Awards in Rabat on Tuesday, overcoming strong competition to extend her dominance in women’s football.

Nnadozie enjoyed an exceptional year both for club and country. She was instrumental in Nigeria’s tenth Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) triumph, keeping four clean sheets and earning the tournament’s Best Goalkeeper award.

At club level, Nnadozie lifted the Coupe de France Féminine with Paris FC after a memorable victory over PSG, before moving to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League.
