Speaking on behalf of the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, Elder Bassey delivered a clear message of discipline, integrity, and pride.
“We would rather have ten gold medals with pride than witness indiscipline or anything that brings shame to Akwa Ibom,” the Governor stated.
“I urge you to be very disciplined and compete clean. Above all, be good ambassadors of the state,” Bassey added, stressing the importance of character over medals.
