Former Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso has resigned from his role as Technical Adviser of NPFL side Barau FC, with the club confirming that his decision was made to attend to family matters.
Barau FC announced that Rabi’u Tata will take over as interim Technical Adviser following Bosso’s exit.
The former Bayelsa United boss, who joined the newly promoted NPFL side two months ago, recorded one win, two draws, and four losses in seven matches, leaving the team bottom of the table with five points.
Tata assumes duties immediately and will lead the team in their next fixture against Kano Pillars.

Meanwhile, the NPFL has directed that the Matchday 9 encounter be played behind closed doors for safety reasons.

In a statement signed by the league’s Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, the NPFL said only referees’ council members, state FA officials, accredited media, and security personnel will be allowed into the stadium.
A total of 120 persons will be permitted inside the match venue, with no fans or unauthorized individuals admitted.

The NPFL Secretariat will also deploy two officials for Barau FC’s upcoming home games to monitor security and organizational compliance.
Barau FC have accepted the decision, acknowledging the league’s safety directive.
The fixture between Barau FC and Kano Pillars will kick off at 4:00 PM at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata.
