In a circular sent to all NPFL clubs dated 6th August 2025, the league warned that involvement in betting or match-fixing will attract severe sanctions, including expulsion, suspension, and fines, in line with its regulations.

The circular emphasised that betting poses a direct threat to the integrity of the league and could lead to match-fixing and reputational damage.
