Onuachu hits double as Trabzonspor win seven-goal thriller

Paul Onuachu struck twice as Trabzonspor beat Karagümrük 4-3 in a dramatic Turkish Super Lig clash at the Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadium.

The visitors arrived in Istanbul without a win in three games but made the perfect start when Felipe Augusto opened the scoring in the 20th minute.

Tiago Çukur quickly equalised for Karagümrük, but Onuachu restored Trabzonspor’s lead with a sharp finish before winning and converting a penalty to put them 3-1 ahead before the break.

Danylo Sikan added a fourth late in the second half, seemingly putting Trabzonspor out of reach. But Chelsea loanee David Datro Fofana hit back with two goals in stoppage time to set up a tense finale.
