Paul Onuachu continued his prolific form in front of goal by scoring the decisive strike as Trabzonspor secured a 1–0 victory over Çaykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
The Nigerian forward netted the only goal of the match in the 51st minute, maintaining his impressive scoring streak and keeping Trabzonspor firmly in the title race.
Onuachu’s goal means he has now scored in eight consecutive matches for the club, becoming the first Trabzonspor player to achieve the feat since Burak Yılmaz did so in an 11-game run between May and November 2011.
