Raphael Onyedika has been nominated for Club Brugge KV’s February Player of the Month award after a series of influential performances.
The midfielder featured in five matches across all competitions during the month, with Brugge losing only once while he was on the pitch.
His most commanding display came in a 3-0 league victory over Standard Liege, where he was named Player of the Match.

Onyedika also made his mark in the knockout phase play-offs of the UEFA Champions League against Atletico Madrid. Trailing 2-0 at half-time in the first leg, Brugge mounted a comeback, with the Nigerian scoring shortly after the restart before assisting the equaliser in a 3-3 draw.

His absence was felt in the return leg. Suspended after a booking in the first meeting, Onyedika missed the second leg as Brugge were beaten 4-1, ending their European campaign.

He is joined on the shortlist by defender Joel Ordóñez, who scored twice during the month, forward Nicolò Tresoldi after four goals in six appearances, 20-year-old midfielder Aleksandar Stanković, and winger Mamadou Diakhon, who provided two assists.
