Victor Osimhen was forced off with an arm injury as Liverpool FC produced a dominant performance to beat Galatasaray 4-0 at Anfield and progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.
The result secured a 4-1 aggregate victory for the Premier League side, overturning a first-leg deficit and ending Galatasaray’s European campaign.
Liverpool started with intensity and drew level on aggregate in the 25th minute when Dominik Szoboszlai converted from close range following a well-worked set-piece involving Alexis Mac Allister.

Despite the early pressure, Galatasaray remained in the tie largely thanks to goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır, who produced a series of saves, including stopping a penalty from Mohamed Salah just before half-time.
Galatasaray’s hopes were dealt a major blow when Osimhen, who had appeared uncomfortable, was withdrawn at the interval due to an arm problem.
