The General Manager and CEO of Rangers Corporation Barr Amobi Ezeaku has described the promotion of Rangers International Women FC to the NWFL Championship as a defining moment for both the club and Enugu State.
Speaking after the Flying Antelopes Women sealed promotion with a 1–0 victory over Plateau Queens in Abuja, the CEO said the achievement represents “a reaffirmation of Rangers’ rebirth” and the success of a long-term vision to create a balanced football ecosystem.
“Personally, this moment is deeply symbolic for both Rangers International FC and Enugu State,” he said.
“For Rangers, it’s a reaffirmation of the club’s rebirth, proof that our vision of building a complete football ecosystem, one that gives equal space to men and women, is not just a dream but a living reality.”
He added that the women’s promotion embodies Rangers’ broader goals of inclusion, excellence, and sustainability.
“The women’s promotion shows that the Rangers badge now represents opportunity for every talented footballer, regardless of gender,” he noted.
