Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has emerged as one of the most closely watched Nigerian players in Europe, with Premier League clubs Sunderland and Nottingham Forest among those linked with a potential move for the Lazio midfielder.
According to Sunderland echo Trabzonspor have opened exploratory talks with the Serie A club as they assess the conditions of a possible deal for the 24-year-old, whose profile has risen sharply over the past year.
Lazio are understood to have placed a valuation of between €15m and €20m on Dele-Bashiru, reflecting both his age and the fact he remains under contract until June 2028.
The Italian club are not under immediate pressure to sell but are aware of increasing interest from multiple leagues. Dele has been a squad player this season and has played in 9 Serie A matches with no goal or assist.

Dele-Bashiru, a former Manchester City academy player, has been attracting attention following his performances in Serie A and on the international stage.
He played a prominent role for Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, featuring in six matches as the Super Eagles secured a bronze-medal finish.

At this stage, no formal offer has been made and discussions are believed to be preliminary. However, with the transfer window open and suitors monitoring developments, Lazio may soon face a decision should their valuation be met.
