Enugu Rangers’ coach Ilechukwu promises tactical reassessment after home loss to Plateau United

Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, said that his team will Reassess their techniques ahead of the next game match against Bendel Insurance.

Ilechukwu made this known to the press after his team failed to convert their chances, yet conceded 1-0 home defeat to Plateau United on Thursday.

“The game against Plateau United was one of our best performances so far, but in terms of converting chances, it was one of our worst. That is what makes football what it is,” Ilechukwu said in a post-match interview.

“We’ve lost, so we congratulate Plateau United for getting the win here. We will go back home and re-strategise for the next game.”

Plateau United goalkeeper, John Amah said he was delighted that the team came out of the game with maximum 3 points coupled with the outstanding performance of his teammate which resulted in the 1-0 away win against Rangers.

The shoot-stopper played a key role in the hard-earned win at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

“Coming to Enugu we had a target and I thank God we were able to achieve our goal in the game.” Amah stated after the match.

Plateau United currently occupy 11th position in the league table with 41 points. while Enugu Rangers 5th position with 11 points. They will face Bendel Insurance in their next league game in Jos.
